WebBrowse guide to Viewing the world

You can now view the world from the comfort of your own armchair using sites with Web Camaras.

A good place to start is the site "Around the world in 80 clicks"  - visit 80 worldwide destinations.

My own personal favourites are Las Vegas - although I could not find a webcam, but the site is great anyway - book your trip while you are there; Hong Kong another very good site with lots of realtime views of the harbour - dawn is just before midnight in UK; see Niagra Falls from the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel - more realtime spectacular views; and closer to home, some friends recently went to Paris for the weekend (and I looked after their kids!) and said how wonderful the Eiffel Tower looks at night - so view it from the Paris Tourist Site which is in French .
